HONG KONG AUTHORITIES SEEK NEW ZEALAND VICTIMS OF TELEPHONE "BROKERS"

Hong Kong authorities are engaged in enforcement action in Hong Kong in respect of certain brokers cold calling from Manila and Bangkok. They are seeking information from New Zealand people who think they may have been defrauded by these people.

The names of the brokers and the companies that they are associated with, as identified by the Hong Kong authorities, are attached. They are split into two lists (Manila and Bangkok).

People who have sent money to bank accounts in Hong Kong for investment through or in these companies should promptly contact David Cope of the Hong Kong Police (in the case of the Manila list) or Iain Johnston of the Hong Kong Commercial Crime Bureau (in the case of the Bangkok list).
