Exemption Summaries

From April 1999 until July 2005 the Commission published summaries of exemptions granted. The summaries provided a business language version of the exemption notice. They also described the reasons or the principal considerations taken into account in deciding to grant each exemption.

Subsequently the written style of exemption notices has become less technical and a Statement of Reasons is included in each notice making exemption summaries unnecessary.
