The Securities Commission is New Zealand's main regulator of the securities markets. When we are seeking new staff the positions are advertised on this page. See job vacancies.

The 20 Best Places To Work – Top 20 Finalist 2007.

The Securities Commission was rated in the top 10 small workplaces in the Unlimited/JRA Best Places to Work in New Zealand Survey 2007. It was a finalist in the survey in the previous three years, coming in first in 2006 and second in 2005.

"This result is fantastic. It is a tribute to the positive, vibrant and dynamic organisational culture of the Commission," Chairman Jane Diplock said. "It is a great accolade for the Commission's staff."

"They are a creative, energetic and fun team who are also highly regarded and dedicated professionals in their fields. They work together in an enthusiastic work environment while delivering high quality regulatory outcomes for New Zealand's capital markets," Jane Diplock said.

"The Commission is extremely proud of its staff."

The Securities Commission's office is in Wellington. Our team of specialists includes lawyers, accountants, and investigators who are supported by administration and communications staff. Please refer to Securities Commission Contacts for the staff list and designations.
